Usually, yes. Bubbles, ripples and loose edges get restretched, and burns and pet damage get patched. If it’s past fixing, replacing the carpet is the other half of what I do.

It depends on the job: a restretch, a seam and a patch are priced differently. You get the price when I see it, before any work starts. The estimate is free in Mission, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford and Pitt Meadows, and $100 anywhere else, credited back if you go ahead.

Most often it wasn’t stretched tight enough when it went in, often because it was only knee-kicked, not power-stretched, or it’s worked loose over the years. A restretch pulls it tight again with a power stretcher and hooks it back onto the tack strip around the walls.

Yes. If it’s carpet I installed in the last year, it’s covered: my warranty covers carpet coming loose or apart.

Yes, I patch both. I’ve seen what a dog shut in a bedroom can do to carpet, and I’ve got two dogs myself, so no judgment. Text me a photo of it when you get in touch.

Yes. If carpet I installed bubbles within a year, I restretch it free. That’s part of my one-year warranty on the work. It doesn’t cover pet damage, burns or vacuum snags.

Yes. The free restretch only covers carpet I installed, so other repairs are priced when I see the job.

I do, with my son. A restretch means a power stretcher and a lot of kicking, and he does the kicking these days, because I’m getting older. He’s worked with me for 12 years.
